Critiques
Now on to the deviation itself. Concerning the animation, it's perfect. Just the right speed, and moving up and down to perfect heights. The only little thing is those small three islets on the bottom left... they're quite small and seem to be moving a little bit too fast... and the one with the menhirs between the rainbow seems to have a frame that makes it go a couple of pixels too high...
The colours are wonderful, there's nothing to say bout them. The rainbow is beautiful, and so are the flowers. Great palette of colours, they all go so well together!
One last thing... the lake and waterfall... well the lake I mean. The waterfall is spot-on. Nothing could make it better, but the lake looks a bit flat, and some minor changes would make it much more attractive
This is a fine example of pixel animation.
Everything shines, and the shading is perfect.
You did a great job with the pathway leading up to the house, the plants, etc.
But the thing that tugs my vision of the whole animation is the fact that it's not very smooth when the pieces of land come up and down. The bigger spots are okay, but the little ones seem to be very rough. Also the one with the three rocks on it looks like it's trying to lift off but failing. (I'm not sure if that came out right) What I would do is maybe make a few more frames up and down, just to make it a little more smooth.
A few more frames in the pink smoke coming out of the house would make it perfect.
So, just a few more frames would make it perfect.
My favorite part of the whole animation is the waterfall. I dunno why. But it is.
Very original idea, I really like it.
Overall, this would be an immediate +fav in my book.
